.... And so I look at this picture and see the marriage, but Elza sees beauty. It's just like life: where you look, what you pay more attention to that is what you see after all. It is the reticular activating system that works in our brain. To put it simply, where the focus is sent, there is energy out there.
I look at me in the mirror - here I am not perfect, not Brad Pitt at all. Experts will say: "Here you have a belly without abs, crooked teeth, here he is roundshouldered and so on". It's strange, because for my wife, mom and children, I'm a handsome man.
I look at how I make my forum – it is so imperfect, with a lot of marriage, defects and blunders. Experts will say: "Well, who does that, everything is at the last minute, without a budget, business processes are not lined up, communication is with errors ...." It's strange, but for others, this is perfection itself and an example to follow.
I look at how I take my photos - they are also not perfect and with a lot of marriage. Experts will say: "here the color correction is bad, there is no composition, and, in general, Andrey, why the road is interrupted in this picture, it's wrong...." But maybe my photos are beautiful for the universe.
Well, at least for one person it is. And you've never noticed these defects. Or maybe these defects are not so important? Or maybe they are beautiful on the contrary, because an ordinary photo turns into something else, into an Art object with its own history? When you look at a photo as a puzzle and don't understand: how is it, what kind of glitch do I have?
And who are these experts who are constantly telling me about imperfection? When did they stuck in my head and started controlling my choice and my life? Is it really necessary to absolutely trust their persistent recommendations?
The idea to collect all my defective works and make a collection "notPerfect" was born. Do not take those photos that are perfect, but choose those that didn't work out instead. Should I give up on these experts and do it my way?
This collection will be about our beautiful imperfection, about our daily choice - "to see the beauty of the world as a whole or to see its imperfection in details." Or probably it will be about how to love this imperfection and give it some space in this world. To realize that this imperfection is exactly your uniqueness, what the universe really needs.
"notPerfect" - to see and love your imperfection
